Old house renovated in 2002 and 2010, located in the square courtyard of a dwelling, adjoining outbuildings, close to a year-round rental property. Separate entrance. Ground floor: living room (fireplace), kitchen, shower room, WC, 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140) (2 beds 90, 1 bed 120). Wifi. Private 300 m² garden with small 40 m² enclosed courtyard (garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs). Private heated swimming pool (4x5m) open from June 15 to September 15. 2 adult bicycles available.
Aizenay 12 km, CHALLANS (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday morning markets) 12 km. Carrefour Contact 4 km away in St Christophe du Ligneron. Options: End-of-stay cleaning: €49/stay; Sheet hire for 1 or 2 people: €10/stay; Bathroom linen hire: €8/stay/pers.
Extra charge:
Oil-fired central heating package: 13€/day from 15/11 to 15/04 and 9€/day from 01/10 to 15/11 and from 15/04 to 31/05 (payable to the owner).

From La Roche sur Yon, take the D948 towards Noirmoutier/Saint Nazaire. Pass Aizenay, drive 12 km and follow signs for Mermande.
From St Nazaire Challans, head for La Roche sur Yon, leaving the village of St Christophe on your left and continuing towards La Roche sur Yon for 4 km, then take the "Les Mermandes" exit.
Please note that the gîte is located in Mermande, not in nearby Grande Mermande.
