Outdoor areas and swimming pool
The property features a large park of around 15,000 square meters, with a natural meadow where you'll find the rectangular swimming pool, purified with chlorine and with a Roman-style staircase, measuring 7 x 14 m with a depth that varies from 1.25 to 1.45 m. Paved on the outside, it is equipped with parasols, deckchairs, an external shower and two wooden pergolas for protection from the sun. Opposite the pool is a comfortable outbuilding with service bathroom and sofas with TV, suitable for use as a relaxation or reading area. Children's games (table tennis, table soccer, swing) are available in the grounds. Parking on the property.
Interiors
The structure is that of a hotel, with a first floor comprising a large dining area with TV from which access is gained to the outside, a well-equipped kitchen, 4 double bedrooms (with divisible beds) with en-suite bathrooms and showers (two of which are suitable for people with reduced mobility), 1 single bedroom with French bed (150 cm). 2 service bathrooms complete the floor. On the second floor we find 3 double bedrooms (with separable beds) with bathroom and shower, one of which has access to a balcony that communicates with two other single bedrooms on the floor, 8 single bedrooms with French beds (150 cm) and bathroom with shower, one of which has a private balcony. Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, sink, iron and ironing board.
The outbuilding, overlooking the pool, is furnished in a modern, functional style and is located entirely on the first floor. It comprises a TV and reading room with sofas and a service bathroom.
Position
In a dominant, panoramic position amid woods and cultivated fields, the property is not isolated but close to other villas, overlooking the neighboring village and the entire Arno valley.
Facilities
Villa Le Greti is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet access, centralized heating, baby bed, high chair, courtesy set and hairdryer in the bathrooms, parking inside the property. Each room has a safe, and 4 rooms on the second floor (3 singles and 1 double) have ceiling fans.
Services
Included in the price: linen for bathroom, bed and kitchen (changed weekly), pool towels, internet connection, electricity, water and gas, high chair and cot. On request and payable on site, housekeeper to clean and tidy bedrooms and bathrooms, cook, supply of breakfast products, weekly change of linen.
Important information
Swimming pool open from 15/05 to 30/09. Pets are welcome, up to a maximum of two and of small size only (not allowed to use the pool). Separable double beds available on request at time of booking.
Activities and distances
The villa is set on a hill overlooking the Arno river valley, close to the village of Soci with its grocery stores and supermarket. The owner runs a restaurant in the village square. For lovers of trekking and excursions, there are numerous possibilities in the immense secular woods of the Casentino Park, at the Verna and Camaldoli Sanctuaries or at the small Lake Idoli, source of the River Arno. Arezzo and Cortona are also within easy driving distance. Siena and Florence are not far away.
Soci 1.5 km (grocery stores), golf course 5 km, riding school and tennis court, Arezzo 38 km (antique market), Florence and Cortona 65 km, Siena 97 km.
