A charming, spacious apartment with stunning mountain views. The perfect alpine base for family or friends at any time of year.
This second-floor duplex is full of alpine character and comfortably sleeps 6 people. There are two living areas where guests can relax. On the first floor of the apartment, there is an airy dining room with a traditional wooden table for 6 people. This is next to a well-equipped, open-plan kitchen. Guests will find everything they need for catering during their stay, including an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. At the other end of the room, there is a small seating area with two armchairs. Next to these is a sliding glass door which leads out on to a private balcony with a table and chairs and picturesque views of the mountains.
On the first floor of the duplex, reached via a pretty, carved wooden staircase, there is a large but cosy sitting room, with two comfortable sofas, an armchair and a flatscreen TV.
All three bedrooms have everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
On the ground floor of the building, there is also a communal sitting area complete with a fireplace and a pool table.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The alpine-style master bedroom has a double bed, good storage, en suite bathroom and a French window which leads on to a private balcony.
Bedroom 2: A cosy double bedroom, with a charming arched window and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: Tucked under the eaves on the 1st floor of the duplex, with lovely wooden panelling and ceiling, this bedroom has a large double bed and good wardrobe space.
Bathroom
Bathroom 1: En suite to bedroom 1, this bathroom, with classic white tiling, has a full bath with a shower head, basin and W.C.
Bathroom 2: A separate bathroom with similar décor to bathroom 1, the second bathroom and has a shower, basin and W.C, with the added bonus of a private sauna.

Location
The apartment is in the centre of the village of Argentière, a short walk from the lifts for Les Grands Montets skiing area, ski slopes and shuttle buses.
The slopes around Argentière are suitable for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets.
The Chamonix valley is an exciting holiday destination all year round. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding. In the winter it is famous for its wide range of snow sports. For something more relaxing there is the renowned QC Termes spa in Chamonix (10 mins drive).
Geneva airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive from the apartment. There are free shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix, either by bus (22 mins) or by train (18mins), on the Mont Blanc Express.

The apartment is pleasant, quiet and well located, with shops nearby and access to the cable car right next door. The parking and the ski room in the basement are very practical. As far as equipment is concerned, there are still some improvements to be made; a lack of lighting in the bathroom and the bedrooms, the closing of the velux curtain is a bit difficult to do, and the kitchen equipment needs to be improved (colander to be changed, poor quality toaster...)

Very nice apartment, very well located at the entrance of the city, very nicely decorated and well arranged, with a breathtaking view of Mont-Blanc! Quiet residence, with services (laundry for example) that we have not tested... Only one small downside: the upper rooms on the mezzanine, perfect for children, are a little low on the ceiling for adults!
