Situated at the foot of the fortress in the charming medieval village of Hérisson, this former 16th-century college has been completely restored, preserving a place steeped in history. Enjoy a unique experience and let yourself be seduced by the English cottage atmosphere, with its stone walls and exposed beams. The inner courtyard invites you to relax with its garden furniture, terrace and swimming pool (open all year round, 3 x 3 m, depth 1.50 m). This historic building comprises two wings linked by footbridges. Ground floor: Enjoy the large dining room with its kitchen opening onto the courtyard, 1 bedroom with 1 x 180cm bed (separable into 2 x 90cm beds) and its bathroom (bath and WC), 1 WC in the hall.
1st floor: Relax in the large living room around the wood-burning stove. Enjoy the different areas (reading, games...)
2nd floor: 2 bedrooms with 1 x 180 (or 2 x 90) bed, each with en-suite shower room and WC, 1 bedroom with 1 x 180 (or 2 x 90) bed and 1 en-suite bathroom with bath and WC. Each room has air-conditioning.
The Tower: (access via the footbridge or the courtyard) the gîte has nothing to be ashamed of when compared with the towers of Château d'Hérisson, since it has one of its own! There's a laundry room on the first floor. A spiral staircase leads to a bedroom with 1 x 140cm bed on the 1st floor mezzanine, and 2 x 90cm beds and an extra bed on the first floor mezzanine. L'Ancien Collège is waiting for you to continue its history! Parking space in the village.
