In the heart of a vast 30-hectare pine forest, just 1 km from the beach, this airy, shady campsite is the ideal place to discover the Médoc.
Criss-cross the prestigious vineyards, climb up to the Cordouan lighthouse, a Unesco World Heritage site, cycle along the numerous cycle paths, surf and sunbathe on the endless wild beach! Stroll through the Montalivet les Bains market, one of the largest in Europe... in short, you've found the perfect place to combine it all, and it's here in Montalivet les Bains!
The 4-star Médoc Plage campsite has benefited from major improvements over the last few years, bringing its main services and facilities up to date! You're sure to love our water park with 2 areas, one covered for relaxing in the spring whatever the weather, and the other outside for cooling off in midsummer, featuring a wild river, a paddling pool with water games and no fewer than 13 toboggan runs, including 3 pentagliss slides for the kids - thrills guaranteed!
In the low season, the atmosphere is more relaxed, with a few events and friendly get-togethers, but once summer arrives, let yourself be carried away by the lively entertainment team and its range of daytime and evening activities. Services are also open throughout the season, and the facilities are sure to delight young and old alike, with the 12-lane mini-golf course and sports facilities such as the archery range and padel tennis court, for even more leisure, fun and enjoyment! Sports fans, you're in for a treat.
Pitchounes have not been forgotten: a recently renovated secure area is totally dedicated to them, with a vast colorful playground and inflatable structures: fun and laughter in prospect!

Don't miss the "Show Bike" organized by the commune of Montalivet les Bains, which welcomes between 10,000 and 15,000 motorcycles over the weekend of June 28-30, 2024. It's the largest gathering of motorcyclists on the Atlantic coast, with fireworks, a rock concert and a parade of beautiful motorcycles. All the region's accommodations, including campsites, will be in demand. Even if they're not allowed to ride in the campsite at night, such a concentration of motorcycles is bound to be noisy. A parade of beautiful machines, a "backfire" atmosphere. To be avoided or to be booked as soon as possible with full knowledge of the facts...

- Description of the water park:
You'll love the water park with 2 areas, indoor and outdoor:
- 1 indoor heated pool with a 550 m² surface area, perfect for swimming laps, and deckchairs for relaxing moments. Children are also catered for with water games in the paddling pool. Whatever the weather, you're guaranteed to be able to swim and relax with your family.
A beautiful outdoor water park with :
- 13 slide lanes in all, including 1 x 3-lane slide, 1 x 4-lane slide, 1 x "Space Hole" sensation slide, 1 x "Body Slide" slide and 1 x buoy slide. Magic whirls and sensations guaranteed! (Some slides are reserved for people over 1.30 m tall, and children remain under parental supervision).
- Heated outdoor pool: 850 m² of beautifully landscaped pool with wild river, water garden, anatomical benches, whirlpool baths and waterfall.
- Water garden with games: rocking bucket, jet daisies, jet hoops and jet palm.
- Jet castle with toddler slides
- And for a moment of pure relaxation, laze and read on one of the many deckchairs by the pool.
Aquatic area opening dates and times: (times to be consulted on site)

NB: Swim shorts, Bermuda shorts, wetsuits or similar are strictly forbidden in the pools. Swimsuits or boxer shorts must be worn. Supervised swimming throughout the season.
And don't forget the ocean, just 1 km away, where you can extend the pleasures of the water on a huge sandy beach, whether for lazing around, for wave-lovers or just for your children's famous sandcastles.

- Entertainment:
Although the range of activities is smaller in low season and more extensive during the summer school vacations, come and take part in numerous activities from Sunday to Friday and throughout the season. Activities run by a friendly team of professionals: fitness, pétanque, sports tournaments, soccer, basketball, handball and volleyball.
In the evening, it's time for entertainment! Our dynamic team of entertainers will be on hand to put on shows and entertain you in good spirits... It's Mini Disco followed, depending on the day, by your children's show, aperitif games, magic shows, concerts, cabarets, karaoke, not forgetting the inevitable summer dance parties! There's something for all ages and tastes!
For the more sporty among you, take on the brand-new multi-sports pitch for long games of soccer, basketball and handball. For more variety, consider the beach volleyball court and ping-pong table (rackets available on loan).
Challenge yourself to a game of mini-golf, padel tennis or archery. It's a great opportunity to take advantage of your vacation to try out new sports!
For the more traditional, the petanque court is the perfect place to enjoy a friendly game of bowls with friends or family!
At the entrance to the campsite, there's an outdoor fitness trail to keep you in shape, even on vacation!
Children haven't been forgotten: a colourful, safe play area is dedicated to them, with climbing frames, sliding and swinging apparatus and inflatable structures to keep them entertained!
Kids' Club: during the summer vacations, Monday to Friday (10am/12pm and 3pm/17pm).
3 age groups (4-6 yrs / 7-10 yrs / 11-12 yrs): with dedicated activity leaders, your children will enjoy manual and sporting activities adapted to their age, such as dance, creative or cooking workshops, ball games, mini-olympics and even preparing and taking part in the children's show!
Club Ados (13-17 yrs): during the summer vacations and from Monday to Friday (11am/13pm and 3pm/17pm), a counsellor will propose a program adapted to their desires of the day. Sports activities, beach volleyball tournaments, video clips, big games, beach outings, teen dinners - you name it, we've got it! (Some outings at extra cost).

The campsite offers a range of practical services: laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer (extra charge), iron and vacuum cleaner loan service on request from reception, and safe rental from reception (extra charge and subject to availability).
For summer barbecues, use the communal barbecues (charcoal required, use subject to prefectoral authorization).
If you're in the mood for a ride, you can rent a bike on site (surcharge) and explore the region on the many cycle paths accessible from the campsite! Don't hesitate to ask reception for advice on the best routes in the region.
Nearby: you'll of course find shops and the famous market in the town of Montalivet les Bains.

a lot of traffic on the driveway in front of the campsite, so it's noisy and a bit annoying considering the price of the rental - no mini-market in the campsite - no information on the documents to be provided (you have to call the campsite before your arrival to avoid bad surprises, especially if you are accompanied by a third person (niece): parental authorisation, insurance ....... More than an hour and a half of waiting to do the arrival procedures with all the documents bar of the campsite very badly organized (a lot of waiting)
