This traditional stone house has been completely renovated. The bay window in the kitchen overlooks a lush park. Here and there, collectors' tree species surround the pond and stream that bring coolness in summer. A little further on, on a carpet of lawn, the traditional apple orchard offers an inspiring refuge, where nature puts on a spectacular show of colors. At the end of the day, the fireplace provides a pleasant alternative to the sun, and you can make use of its built-in barbecue.

Your host :
Jean-Marie Dumaine, a native of the Virois bocage, is a star chef across the Rhine, and his wife Colette was born in the gite. The chef has been cooking with 350 species of plants for 40 years. They are based in Sinzig, a German town near Bonn. He fell in love with the Rhineland region and repatriated his wife and children forty years ago. "I've always been impressed by German rigor", he says with a smile. he confides with a smile.
