Nestled in the famous Cap d'Agde, stop off at Les Sables d'Or 4* campsite and discover its trump card: a 10,000 m² pirate-themed water park. A Caribbean atmosphere where budding Jack Sparrows won't know where to turn, with slides, 1 lagoon pool, 1 wave pool, a river of currents and even a surf simulator!
This campsite sets the bar high, with eight food outlets, four bars, outstanding shows to keep you entertained all summer long, not to mention the children's clubs in summer, and the latest-generation, high-comfort accommodation to complete the picture.
And the adventures don't stop there! Cap d'Agde has a multitude of activities in store for all ages, with an amusement park, aquarium, golf course, restaurants and stores galore. You can also explore the picturesque villages of the hinterland or take a sea excursion.

- Description of the Aquatic Area:
Welcome to "Pirates World", a neighboring water park with access included for campsite residents. Enjoy 10,000 m² of swimming, attractions and fun of all kinds!
The water park is divided into two distinct sections:
- The Californian section offers a wide variety of activities for young and old, including a lagoon pool and paddling pool, as well as slides, a whirlpool and a surf spot.
- The Pirate section, with a wild river, a large pirate paddling pool and even a wave pool!
For bathing enthusiasts: several heated pools, a lagoon pool, a wave pool, a swimming pool and a heated hot tub under a straw hut with water jets.
For the more adventurous, there are 5 slides, including a multi-track slide with 6 sliding lanes and 2 thrill rides.
The wild river with buoys is also a fun option for families (buoys not supplied).
You can also try your hand at surfing, bodyboarding, wakeboarding or towed buoys on the wave simulator. Supervised by professionals, these activities (at extra charge) ensure maximum fun in complete safety!
Younger children can enjoy several paddling pools, the main one featuring a pirate ship caught in the tentacles of a giant octopus, as well as water mushrooms and specially adapted mini-toboggans.
Finally, for those who want to relax, you can sunbathe on one of the solarium beaches.
Aquatic area opening dates and times :
- Open in its entirety from 08/05 to 01/09 and only the Pirate section from 02/09 to 22/09.
NB: Supervised swimming - armbands are compulsory for younger children and minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Women may wear one- or two-piece swimsuits and men boxer shorts or briefs. Swim shorts and beach dresses are not permitted. Access is by compulsory bracelet/badge.
And let's not forget the beautiful sandy beach around 800 m from the campsite, easily accessible on foot or by bike... the largest and wildest in Cap d'Agde. Here, even in the height of summer, you'll have no trouble putting down your beach towel!

- Entertainment:
Throughout the season, you'll find just the right amount of entertainment on site, including :
- Pirate game (treasure hunt, escape game, pirate challenge, Mister Black chest)... immersive group games.
- Daytime activities include the famous pétanque tournament and manhunt.
- And let's not forget the evening entertainment on busy days in low season, and every evening from 18/05 to 07/09!
The pace intensifies from 06/07 to 31/08 with a full, rich and varied program of activities, offering you :
- Up to 25 activities a day, kids' and teens' clubs, mascots and heroes on parade!
- And no less than 3 evening shows every night!
Two clubs are also available for your children, according to a schedule to be consulted on site:
Kids club (ages 5-11): only on busy days in low season and every day from 06/29 to 09/01, with activities for everyone!
Teens club (ages 12-17): only from 06/07 to 31/08, to keep them busy! (schedule to be consulted on site).
On the activity side: national sport par excellence, several pétanque courts let you challenge your neighbors; forehand or backhand enthusiasts, ping-pong tables (rackets available on loan) and tennis courts, and from 01/07 a brand-new multisport stadium.
For the little ones, there's a play area at reception level, shaded by trees and featuring a multi-activity labyrinth, spring-loaded games, or for the big ones, slides, suspension bridges and climbing structures, and an indoor games room.
Timetables are indicative and subject to change. The entertainment program may be subject to certain adjustments, depending on the weather, visitor numbers and official sanitary conditions in force at the time of your stay.
- Services available on site:
For most of the season, from 20/04 to 15/09, we offer all the services you would expect from a 4* resort.
The campsite is located on either side of a small secondary road leading to the beach.
On one side is the mobile-home village, organized into neighborhoods, and on the other is the vibrant heart of the campsite, with its water park, entertainment, activities and services. It's easy to move from one environment to the other via a secure pedestrian walkway.
In the mild morning, opt for an espresso on the terrace, and at any time of day, enjoy a refreshing drink in one of the bars close to the pools in the water park.
For a snack or meal on the go, several snack bars and a brasserie await you, offering snacks such as sandwiches, croque-monsieur, roast chicken and French fries, or more traditional cuisine served on the terrace.
In the evening, enjoy the panoramic view of the water park from the Lounge Bar, with tapas, sushi and planks to share, accompanied by a seasonal cocktail to a chill musical backdrop.
You can try out a total of 8 food outlets and 4 bars on the entire estate, enough to satisfy big hungers and small thirsts!
For your breakfasts, head to the bakery for freshly baked bread and pastries (open all season, according to opening hours posted on site).
And don't forget the catering service, offering takeaway meals so you can make the most of your vacation without having to cook every day!
For a little shopping, head for the mini-market (open all day in summer, mornings only in low season): basic necessities, fresh produce, fruit and vegetables, a newspaper stand, gas cylinders for the barbecue, beach items and that little vacation souvenir to take home with you.
To round things off, several times a week, local traders set up shop on the campsite to offer you regional products, local crafts, jewelry...
Other services available: Wifi access throughout the campsite (extra charge); Laundry with washing machine and dryer (extra charge); Possibility of depositing your valuables in the safe at reception; Gas barbecues available for hire, in accordance with current regulations, use subject to prefectoral authorization (individual charcoal and electric barbecues are forbidden on your pitch for fire safety reasons); Hairdresser for a new look, and on request, a partner beautician can come and give you a treatment or massage in your own home. Practical, isn't it?

Not very smiling welcome no information given to you to look for very narrow accommodation cleanliness of paths and structures to be reviewed when they work Services at the campsite only exist on paper, so for me and my family, we're not at all satisfied. Huge campsite, we missed the family atmosphere and the closeness of the staff. It's a pity that the water park is open to people from outside the campsite, no place to take a deckchair, fortunately the beach is nearby very large and pleasant. 4 * campsite but not maintained, we didn't see any gardeners, dirty alleys, leaves everywhere, the roads are not maintained, very narrow, no parking available outside the pitches, we didn't take advantage at all of the entertainment or children's clubs as they were too large and there was no communication. It's a real shame because there's so much to do. Friendly, smiling staff at both reception and food service. The mobile home was very poorly equipped, especially in the kitchen: no salad bowl, no cooking lid, recent mobile home but very narrow for 6, electrical sockets in the middle of the bed! No bedside table, no closet... No storage space for shopping. Disappointed, the kids had fun, that's the main thing, but we won't be coming back.

Very disappointing locasun accommodation, 2 cinder blocks in front of the terrace, no real place to put your vehicle, cobblestones neither done nor to do, an air-conditioning system full of mould, a rickety fridge with a broken door, the bedroom door jamb completely broken and half-recessed. Fortunately, the campsite management upgraded us to a privilege so that it made up for our stay. The staff at reception had nothing to say, they met our expectations and did everything necessary to ensure that we had a good vacation in spite of everything. Although the pool is a little cool (22°C in June), the aquatic area is magnificent. A word of advice: if you want to book at this campsite, take advantage of the privileges - it's the prettiest part.
