Magnificent 60-square-meter apartment in Les Angles.
I'm delighted to welcome you to my 60-square-meter apartment, designed for 4 people, with swimming pool. It borders a park, a shopping center and bus stops for Avignon. It's less than 15 minutes from the TGV train station and less than 10 minutes from Avignon and Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Close to major historical sites in the South of France: Pont du Gard, Orange, Nîmes, Arles and the Mediterranean beaches.
Accommodation
Located in Les Angles, my accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, a fully-equipped kitchen, a shower room, two toilets and a living room where you can relax after a busy day, overlooking the swimming pool and the stone and brick barbecue. The living room has a dining area, books in several languages, stereo equipment and a large CD collection.
Facilities include parking, coffee maker, dishwasher, oven, microwave, TV, hairdryer, fridge/freezer, Wi-Fi, fans and hot water.
Enjoy the private swimming pool with heat pump, the two terraces and the beautiful garden!
Ideal for visiting the South of France!
The Roman arenas of Nîmes and Arles. The Orange amphitheater, the Alpilles nature park, the villages of Provence and Luberon, not forgetting the Camargue and its wild horses, and of course the many Mediterranean beaches.
The Palais des Papes is a must-see in Avignon. It's the city's most emblematic landmark. One of France's 10 most visited monuments, it's a 15-minute drive from our accommodation and a 20-minute bus ride.
As for the Pont d'Avignon (10 minutes by car), it's impossible not to have heard at least once in your life the famous song dedicated to this historic monument: "Sur le Pont d'Avignon, on y danse, on y danse... Sur le Pont d'Avignon, on y danse tous en rond! Now you'll have it stuck in your head all day long.
I recommend a visit to Avignon's Notre-Dame des Doms cathedral (10 minutes by car), famous for its bell tower topped by a golden Virgin Mary. The cathedral skilfully blends Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque architecture. Next to the cathedral is the Jardin des Doms, Avignon's most famous green space and public garden (10 minutes by car).
For your shopping needs, there's a wide choice of shops nearby, including supermarkets, bakeries, laundromats, pizzerias, restaurants, pharmacies, newsagents, ice-cream parlors, florists and much more. All less than 200 meters away!
Don't miss the Villeneuve-les-Avignon street market on Thursdays and the local market on Saturdays. Also in Villeneuve, the famous antique market welcomes you on Saturdays, with a lively café, live bands and oysters in season.
