This 112 sq. m. apartment in Briançon is perfect for a vacation in the mountains. Recently renovated, it is located in an old family house, which gives it both charm and modernity. You'll enjoy totally independent access and absolute peace and quiet. Ready to accommodate 8 people!
Accommodation
My apartment is spacious, bright and perfectly suited to a tourist stay. It boasts a breathtaking view of the mountains. It comprises two parts: the first is an apartment for 6 people, with a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two twin beds (a comfortable mattress topper makes it possible to create a double bed), a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a living room with a sofa bed; the second part is a studio for 2 people, with a living area with a fold-out bed, a kitchenette and a separate shower room.
During your stay, you'll have at your disposal: hairdryer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee machine, microwave, oven, iron, raclette machine (individual raclette sets powered by candles), fondue picks.
A professional cleaning service is provided before guests arrive. The cleaning fee includes: Physical reception to hand over the keys, inventory of fixtures, cleaning before your arrival, welcome products, return of keys also in physical form.
We're very attached to this apartment, which we've taken the time to renovate over the years. You will be greeted by Julie, who is in charge of managing the apartment, and who will be happy to listen to you during your stay. The apartment is a 5-minute drive from the cable car that takes you up to the Prorel summit and the Rocher Blanc ridge. You can take full advantage of winter activities such as skiing, ice climbing, snowshoeing... The first ski lifts are just a few minutes away by car. A true sportsman's paradise, you'll also be spoilt for choice in summer by hiking, mountaineering, via ferrata, kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, paragliding...
The Grande Boucle shopping center is a 4-minute drive away, as is the Grand Boucle pharmacy. Briançon's Casino Circus is 6 minutes away.
You can also visit the Parc de la Schappe (10 minutes by car), Briançon's Vauban fortress with the Fort du Château and the Pont d'Asfeld (6 minutes). You can also spend a day at the Grimp In Forest amusement park (10 minutes by car).
Finally, you can relax after a day's hiking or skiing at the "Les grands bains" thermal baths at Monnetier-Les-bains (15 minutes by car).

Location
At the crossroads of five Alpine valleys, Briançon became a fortified town in the 14th century. A Dauphiné town and the seat of important trade fairs, it is the capital of the Escartons. Located at the convergence of five valleys - Haute-Durance, Guisane, Clarée, Ayes and Cerveyrette - the town of Briançon occupies a remarkable geographical position.
The radiating structure of these valleys provided the town with relatively easy external access to Provence, Queyras, Isère, Drôme and present-day Italy.
This dense communications network has long made Briançon a land of passage, a major crossroads in the heart of the Alps, offering the best conditions for the movement of people, the traffic of goods and the exchange of cultures.
Easily accessible from the resort of Serre-Chevalier, you can enter Europe's highest fortified town through the Porte de Pignerol, at an altitude of 1,326m, and be welcomed by the Heritage Department, which offers a variety of guided tours at 3pm every day, led by guides certified by the French Ministry of Culture, in French, English and Italian (German and Spanish for groups).
