Position
The villa is located right on the beach, facing the sea, in the town of Caucana, 2 km from Punta Secca and 4 km from Marina di Ragusa, in the southeast of Sicily. Punta Secca is a famous fishing village renowned for being the set of the Italian series "Il Commissario Montalbano" and for hosting its famous house.
Not far away are the UNESCO cities of the province of Ragusa, such as Ragusa Ibla (27 km), Modica (28 km) and Scicli (18 km) and the beaches of Punta Braccetto (6 km), the Natural Reserve of Randello (8 km), Donnalucata (13 km) and Sampieri (24 km). The "Pio La Torre" airport of Comiso is 30 km away and the golf courses of the Donnafugata Golf Resort & Spa are 12 km away. At 150 m from the villa, there is an equipped beach.

Caucana
The settlements of Caucana, a seaside resort near Punta Secca, stand next to an archaeological park, which protects the beautiful beach of "Along the sea of junk" on which you stretch out, clinging to the ridge, the remains of the houses of the ancient settlement. The archaeological park during the summer, hosts cultural events and exhibitions and theatrical performances that take place in the lovely open-air theater in a beautiful location where sea and ancient ruins blend harmoniously.
Geographical area
We are localized in South-East Sicily, in the “baroque” heart of “Val di Noto”, Unesco Heritage.
Thanks to the strategic position of Marina di Ragusa, it is possible to visit all the main tourist sites in the area.
You can reach Ragusa Ibla (25 km), Scicli (12 km), Modica (30 km), Noto (70 km) and all the settings of “Commissario Montalbano” (the famous character of a tv series based on the novels by Andrea Camilleri).
You can also make some daily excursions to the Mount Etna (135 km), to the “Valle dei Templi” and Scala dei Turchi in Agrigento (139 km). You can also easily arrive to Siracusa (106 km) and Taormina (182 Km), both famous for their archaeological ruins and Greek theatres. The Port of Pozzallo is quite close (32 km), and it offers many connections to Malta by ferries.
Marina di Ragusa is 15 km away from the golf courses in the Donnafugata Golf Resort Spa.
