Property for exclusive use
Le Torrino is a magnificent country estate, consisting of a main country house and an outbuilding, which can accommodate 12 guests in its 6 double en-suite bedrooms. Recently restructured with total respect for tradition, the house is equipped with Wi fi internet connection, satellite TV and en-suite bathrooms in each room, with marble flooring. The extremely beautiful and singular terrace is equipped with a barbecue for al fresco dining, and the fenced-in, private infinity pool lets you enjoy the relaxing surrounding landscape.
Exterior and pool
The country house is characterized by a vast garden, where the irregularly shaped 10x5-meter swimming pool is located, fenced off to prevent access by small children. The fully-equipped covered terrace is ideal for al fresco dining, even in the shoulder season. The terrace is also very practical for families, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the children playing in the pool.
Interiors
The first floor comprises an entrance hall, a small living room opening onto the garden and equipped with satellite TV, stereo and fireplace, a dining room, a kitchen opening onto the covered terrace equipped for alfresco dining, and a service bathroom.
On the second floor are 1 twin bedroom with bathroom with bath and shower, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedroom with bathroom with bath and shower and direct access to the stairs leading outside. Upstairs you'll find the tower with 1 double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
The ground-floor outbuilding has a living room with fireplace, 2 twin-bedded rooms each with bathroom with bathtub.
Position
The fortified village of Volpaia (bakery, bar, tavern), today a renowned wine center for Chianti Classico, is accessible on foot (1.3 km) or by car (2.5 km).
Facilities
The Torrino is equipped with Wi fi internet access, central heating and a barbecue.
Services
4 hours a day for 5 days a week, linen for beds and bathrooms with weekly change, Wi fi internet connection are included in the price, as is the cleaning service. Cookery lessons, cook, baby sitter and extra hours of domestic help are available on request and payable on site. A tennis court in the nearby village of Volpaia can be reserved on request.
Important information
The swimming pool is open from 15/05 to 30/09. Arrivals must be between 4pm and 7pm. For arrivals after 20:00, a supplement of 50 EURO will be charged.) For arrivals after 22:00, a supplement of 100 EURO will be charged. Arrival outside these times must be requested in advance.
