"Padovana" is a self-contained apartment in the left wing of an ancient Palladian villa dating back to the 16th century, set in the countryside between Venice, Padua and Treviso. The villa is still inhabited by a noble Venetian family who had it built in the first half of the 16th century. Later enlarged, furnished and decorated in the 18th century with frescoes and precious furnishings, it is still surrounded by a historic garden of over 9 hectares, shared with the owner and featuring secular trees and statues. The distinguishing feature is undoubtedly the presence of the owner, whose attentions make your vacation a unique and moving experience. The apartment is ideal for groups of friends and families. Air-conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi Internet access throughout, a large park and a vegetable garden are just some of the comforts on offer. Outside, guests can enjoy a large arbour equipped for alfresco dining with table, chairs and portable barbecue, and a private bean-shaped swimming pool (9x6 prof. 1.60) (01/05-30/09) located in a small fenced garden (approx. 350 m2) separated from the rest of the park. Guests also have a small soccer pitch at their disposal. Included in the price is domestic help 2 times a week (for a total of 6 hours). Baby cot, baby sitter, cook, cooking lessons, bicycles for outings are available on request and against payment. Central heating. On-property parking for 6 cars.
ACCOMMODATION: (360 m2) Ground floor: entrance with marble staircase to second floor. 1st Floor: suite with 1 double bedroom (queen-size bed) with bathroom with bathtub (washing machine and tumble dryer), hallway leading to dining room with table for 8 and kitchen (freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, kettle, espresso coffee machine), living room (with access from dining room and kitchen, with satellite TV, DVD player) with 6 windows. 2nd Floor: (access via wooden staircase) 1 double bedroom with 1 bathroom with bathtub, 1 double bedroom, small passageway to 1 large bedroom with 2 beds, 1 bathroom with bathtub with access from living room. All second-floor windows overlook the garden. Air conditioning throughout.
