Property for exclusive use
Villa i Longobardi is an exclusive villa in classic Tuscan style on two levels plus a panoramic turret, for a total of 300 square meters, capable of accommodating 11 people with its 4 double bedrooms, 3 of which have an extra bed, and 5 bathrooms. The villa, which dates back to the 19th century, boasts a large garden with private swimming pool, air conditioning, WI-FI internet connection and satellite TV in every room. It is the ideal solution for groups of friends or large families, as well as for organizing events.
Outdoor areas and swimming pool
The villa is surrounded by a vast, fully fenced garden of 5,000 square meters, enclosed by an electric gate, with Mediterranean shrub hedges. The two porches, one in front of the entrance to the kitchen and dining room, the other in front of a small outbuilding, house an outdoor dining area with tables, chairs and rustic barbecue, as well as a cosy conversation corner with rattan sofas and armchairs. Not far away is the pool, measuring 15x5 with a depth of 1.4 - 1.5 meters, with entrance via a Roman staircase, lumbar and cervical hydromassage zone and touch-tone edge on 3 sides, while on the remaining side a small waterfall overlooks the children's area (with a depth of 0.40 meters). All around is a large solarium area with shower, sunbeds and parasols, as well as a wrought-iron gazebo equipped with table, chairs and sofas, ideal for enjoying pleasant moments of relaxation. Covered parking for 4 cars is located inside the property.
Interiors
The restructuring of the villa has highlighted the more characteristic aspects, such as the chestnut beams and stone walls, introducing innovative solutions to provide guests with maximum comfort. On the first floor there's a large open-plan living area with an ancient fireplace, sofas and armchairs, satellite TV, DVD player, and a dining room with access to the outside; in a separate room there's the rustic kitchen, equipped with all kinds of appliances and a storeroom, also with access to the outside. Still on the first floor, there's 1 bedroom with 2 beds and a bathroom with shower (the beds can be joined together on request) and another bathroom with shower, also suitable for people with reduced mobility. A wrought-iron staircase leads to the second floor, which comprises 2 bedrooms with 2 beds, both with an additional third single bed, and 1 double bedroom with an additional single bed. Each room has its own bathroom with shower, fireplace and satellite TV. A spiral staircase leads up to a turret in the center of the roof, where you'll find a room with armchairs and a 360° panoramic view of the hills.

Villa i Longobardi lies in the immediate vicinity of the town of Montelopio, in a corner of Tuscany still unspoilt by the crowds of tourists; it is characterized by a varied and multifaceted landscape with olive groves, vineyards, wheat and sunflower fields, and small forests where wild boar, porcupines and roe deer find refuge.

Important information
The swimming pool is open from 2/5 to 15/10. Only small pets are allowed, with a supplement of 50 Euro/pet/week.

The villa's geographical position, between the provinces of Pisa, Siena and Florence, makes it easy to reach Tuscany's major art cities, such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano and Siena, as well as the Etruscan city of Volterra, just a few kilometers away. Trekking and mountain-biking enthusiasts will also find numerous nature trails through the white roads of the surrounding countryside and forests. The Etruscan coast with its varied beaches is about an hour's drive away.
