Property for exclusive use
This characteristic country house lies in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, near San Quirico, immersed in the Tuscan countryside. The surrounding landscape is characterized by alternating hills, farmland and small medieval villages still intact despite the passage of time. Within a 25 km radius are such centers as Bagno Vignoni, famous for its thermal baths, Montalcino and Pienza. In addition to these splendid locations, Montepulciano, Siena, Cortona and Lake Trasimeno are also within easy reach. The structure, which dates back to the early 20th century, has been restored without depriving it of its original Tuscan "estate" atmosphere, with high ceilings in terracotta and wood and exposed beams, very large rooms and terracotta floors. The house is now divided into 3 apartments, all finely furnished with pieces of poor art salvaged from the estate, as well as with antique furniture, and each apartment has centralized heating. From each apartment there's access to a common room with Sat TV, ideal for up to 20 guests. Outside, you'll enjoy a vast, well-equipped green space (6500 m2), with children's playground equipment and a panoramic swimming pool (7.50x15 prof. 1.35-1.45m) (01/05-30/09) with solarium area equipped with shower, sun loungers and parasols. A barbecue and wooden arbour, ideal for al fresco dining, can be enjoyed in the area just beside the pool; laundry room (washing machine) on the first floor. (apartment 2)Ground floor: kitchen/dining room with old sandstone fireplace, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower (no bidet). A spiral staircase leads from the bedroom to a mezzanine with 2 single beds.
(apartment 3) 1°Et: living/dining room with cooking area with travertine hob, stone sink and wood-burning stove, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with bath and shower. A staircase leads from the bedroom to a mezzanine with 1 single bed. On the second floor are closed rooms reserved for the owner.
