Overlooking the verdant Chianti valley, Il Casalone is located in the picturesque village of Lucolena in Chianti, a comfortable country house with private swimming pool and panoramic terrace. The owner's original intention was to make it his own country residence, and the villa has been finely decorated, with top-of-the-range accessories and marble finishes adding to the richness of this real gem. The central location gives guests easy access to all the famous Chianti villages (Castellina, Gaiole, Radda, Panzano) and to the main Tuscan towns of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. The oval-shaped pool (14x7m; depth 1.3-2.5m) (01/04-30/09) has a natural stone border extended by a pleasant lawn, refreshing and relaxing even on the hottest days. Next to the pool area is a barbecue area equipped with all the comforts of outdoor living. Cooks, domestic help and cooking lessons are available on request and payable on site. The villa is equipped with a cot and Wifi Internet access included in the price. Parking on the property. Central heating. PLEASE NOTE: Check in: 16:00 - 20:00. In case of late check-in, a supplement of 40 euro will be charged.
