Situated in the hills overlooking the Arno Valley between Lucca and Pisa, Casale Altocolle is surrounded by verdant olive groves offering a relaxing vacation for the eyes and mind. Staying here, you can make the most of a pleasant idleness, while still being within easy reach of countless must-see cultural cities: Pisa with its famous leaning tower, Lucca with its Renaissance ramparts, the small Etruscan town of Volterra, and finally Florence, just 1 hour away by car. In front of the house, a large panoramic paved terrace is equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining, which is possible during most of the season due to the altitude (300 m) and the generally mild, sunny climate. On a meadow to one side of the house is the swimming pool (14x5.50m; depth 1.45m)(18/5-12/10) with garden equipment, gazebo, sunbeds, barbecue, wood-burning oven. Cots (free) and domestic help (payable on site) available on request. Wi-Fi Internet access and central heating. Parking on the property. PLEASE NOTE: Small pets are only accepted with the owner's agreement upon confirmation of booking. Access via 1 km dirt track unsuitable for sports cars. For cleaning and tidiness reasons, bed linen and towels must be rented (12 euro/person/change).
