Villa il Canto is located in an Apennine hamlet (alt. 450 m approx.) in the immediate vicinity of the Casentino Forests National Park and Castagno d'Andrea, the birthplace of Andrea del Castagno, one of the protagonists of 15th-century Florentine painting. All around, high peaks covered by immense forests culminate in Mount Falterona, where the River Arno rises; ideal for excursions into the heart of nature, while also offering quick access to Florence, possibly by train from the Dicomano station, or to the villages of the Mugello region. The house consists of 3 buildings: the main house, an annex and a small villa divided into 2 apartments (about 300 meters from the main house), accessible by car or a 3-minute walk through the grove. Guests have access to an enclosed garden with saltwater swimming pool (11.50x5.50, depth 1.50 m) (01/05-30/09), equipped with outdoor shower, barbecue and wood-burning oven, whirlpool bath (3x3, depth 0.90 m, sleeps 4) (01/05-30/09), spacious veranda with outdoor kitchenette, table for outdoor lunches and dinners. The villa itself has a private fenced garden with jacuzzi (2.5x2.5m - sleeps 4), barbecue, loggia and outdoor dining terrace. Central heating and WI-FI internet connection throughout. Outside laundry (washing machine). Baby cots, domestic help, cook and cooking classes available on request at time of booking (payable on site).

On the second floor we find 3 double bedrooms (non-divisible beds) and a bathroom with bathtub for 2 people.
Outbuilding:
The garden gives access to the outbuilding (you climb about 10 steps to enter the house).
First floor: kitchen/dining area (microwave, fridge, electric hob, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker) and living room with single sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower.
