Property for exclusive use
Casale Tignano is an ancient stone building of 175 square meters, recently restructured and transformed into a beautiful vacation home for 10 people with 5 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
Traditional Tuscan materials such as attics with wooden beams and terracotta floors are the characteristic features of this residence, which was originally a 13th-century watchtower, and is distributed over three levels and equipped with Wi Fi connection, a living area with satellite TV and a well-equipped kitchen. The property is surrounded on the outside by a vast garden with swimming pool which, thanks to its hilly position, offers a magnificent panorama.
Exterior and pool
The country house features a lovely, well-kept meadow with olive trees that slope gently down to the pool, which is about 50 meters from the house, and from which you can enjoy a splendid panorama of the Tuscan hills. The rectangular pool measures 6x13 and is 1.5 meters deep; it is fully enclosed and has an external shower. The garden offers different areas for relaxing in the open air. Under a large tree there is a table equipped for al fresco dining, as well as a barbecue.
Interiors
The first floor comprises a dining room with fireplace (decorative only), from which 3 steps lead up to the living room, a small sitting room with satellite TV, a well-equipped kitchen with fireplace, a laundry room and 1 bathroom with shower.
The living room leads to the second floor, with 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with shower. A spiral staircase leads up to the tower on the second floor, where you'll find a 2-bed room that opens onto the stairs and is suitable for children.
Location
Casale Tignano lies on the road leading to the evocative medieval village of Tignano, on the hills surrounding the town of Tavarnelle, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.

The property is equipped with Wi fi internet connection (suitable for browsing and downloading e-mail), laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron, mosquito nets on windows, ceiling fans in first-floor bedrooms and central heating.

Included in the price: final cleaning, linen for bed, bathroom and kitchen with weekly change, Wi fi internet, cot and high chair. On request and payable on site: cook, cooking lessons, housekeeper, baby sitter.
Important information
The swimming pool is open from 29/04 to 30/09. The owner lives in a part of the house (which is independent on three sides) but with completely independent access from the outside. The internet connection is suitable for browsing and downloading e-mails. Only small pets are allowed for a supplement of 50 euros/pet/week.
Activities and distances
The position is excellent for those who like to alternate rest with excursions to some of the most famous centers such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and Siena. The property is also surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, woods, small lakes and paths for pleasant walks and mountain biking.
