Property for exclusive use
Casale del Lago is an ancient 160 square meter property that can accommodate up to 12 people; it has 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one of which has a hydromassage bathtub, and two living rooms, each with a double sofa bed. The house, which dates back to the 19th century, has been renovated to perfection and transformed into a vacation home. The swimming pool is private and fenced off for children, the garden has a playground, and there's also an external hydromassage bath, a gazebo, garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor lunches and dinners.
Outdoors and pool
The house offers vast open spaces and is characterized by a large terrace on the first floor, in addition to plenty of green space between the garden and the pool, where there is a children's play area with swing and table tennis as well as a hydromassage pool shaded by a characteristic gazebo for moments of relaxation. The pool, L-shaped and with external shower, measures 12x6 and 1.35 deep; it is fully fenced to leave children free to play. All external areas are well equipped with tables and chairs for al fresco dining, umbrellas, chairs and sunbeds. Wood-burning oven and barbecue available to guests.
Interiors
The interiors are typical of country houses in the Chianti region, with wooden-beamed ceilings and typical terracotta arches. On the first floor there is a very large, well-equipped kitchen with dining area, a magnificent living room with large fireplace and double sofa bed, a sitting room with satellite TV and small pool table and double sofa bed, WC. A stone staircase leads to the upper floor, where you'll find 4 air-conditioned double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with shower and another with shower. On the second floor, in a typical turret, is a large bathroom with hydromassage bathtub.
Location
The country house is set against a backdrop of olive groves, woods and a suggestive view of the lake, immersed in nature.

Casale del Lago is equipped with Wi fi internet connection, central heating, whirlpool bathtub, fenced swimming pool and on-property parking. All rooms have air conditioning and mosquito netting.
Services
Included in the price: household linen for bathrooms, beds and kitchen (changed weekly), internet connection, water and gas for cooking, high chair and cot. On request and payable on site, we can organize cooking classes, domestic help and bike rentals.
Important information
Swimming pool open from 01/04 to 31/10. Small pets allowed for a fee of 50 euros/pet/week.
Activities and distances
The villa is strategically located for visiting the famous Tuscan villages. A few kilometers away is San Casciano Val di Pesa, a characteristic center with ancient buildings and a suggestive view that, with every step, recalls the distant past of nearby Florence and Siena. Possibility of visits and tastings at Chianti farms and wine cellars, horseback riding, excursions, trekking and cookery courses. San Casciano Val di Pesa at km (grocery stores, all kinds of stores and supermarket). Florence 22km, Siena km.
