Property for exclusive use
Villa Lante dates back to the 15th century. It lies in a small, secluded valley in the Mugello region, on the edge of a tiny village. All around, forests and small cultivated fields offer a relaxing landscape in an atmosphere of absolute calm. There's plenty to do nearby, with Florence just 30 minutes away by car or train, and a host of small villages well worth a visit: Vicchio, Giotto's birthplace, Scarperia with its Palazzo Pretorio, golf course, Lake Bilancino ideal for swimming and much more. Trekking enthusiasts will find countless mountain trails of varying degrees of difficulty. Finally, for those who love shopping, the McArthurGlen outlet store in Barberino di Mugello offers sales on prestigious brands. At the rear of the villa is an Italian-style garden and, crossing a small bridge over the river, you arrive at the swimming pool (8x4.50m; depth 1.40)(01/05-30/09) with external shower. An area equipped with tables, chairs and a wood-burning oven allows you to eat outside in the shade of old trees. The accommodation is equipped with central heating. Included in the price: domestic help 4 hours a day and cot. On request at time of booking and payable on site: domestic help, meal preparation, shopping service, laundry service. Parking on the property.
