140 m2 vacation home in an ancient medieval stone fortification, able to accommodate 5 people with 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms. With its private swimming pool, large garden, panoramic terrace, barbecue, WiFi connection and parking, it's ideal for small groups of friends or families.
Outdoor areas and swimming pool
The property, set in a park in a panoramic position, is surrounded by a characteristic cypress grove and a private garden of fruit trees, ideal for enjoying views over the countryside and spending relaxing moments in the shade of the vineyard pergola equipped with wicker garden furniture. Just below the castle's perimeter walls, exposed to the sun all day long, lies the rectangular, touch-edge swimming pool for exclusive use, measuring di 5x10 with a depth varying from 1.5 to 2 meters; it can be reached by taking a short paved path down through the cypress trees. Around the pool is a solarium area equipped with sunbeds, an outdoor shower and a gazebo with table and chairs. The terrace, just outside the main entrance, is furnished with an elegant iron and glass table, chairs, parasol and barbecue for outdoor grilling. Private parking space outside the property.
Interiors
The structure is developed over 3 levels with two main entrances on the first floor, one from the internal courtyard shared with other apartments and the other from the private terrace that opens onto the dining room with fireplace and kitchenette, in addition to a bathroom with shower. The second floor features a day area with fireplace, sofas, armchairs and direct access to the garden. On the third floor is the sleeping area with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub.
Location
The house has its origins in the ancient flanking tower of a fortress dating from before the year 1000, which in the Middle Ages dominated the entire Chianti valley, precisely halfway between Siena and Florence.
