Property for exclusive use
The stone-built Villa "i Cedri" stands on the slopes of a hill overlooking the Val di Chiana, on the border with Umbria. The panorama over the entire plain, as far as the hills of Montepulciano in the province of Siena, is marvellous, and the sunsets are spectacular. It's easy to get to the Etruscan town of Cortona, famous for its Etruscan remains, antique stores, modern art and typical restaurants. This is where the 3-Oscar-winning film "La vita è bella" was shot. All around, the hills are covered with olive groves and woods interspersed with small cultivated fields from terraced land supported by dry stone walls. Spending your vacation in this villa also allows you to make excursions in Umbria, in particular to Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and Assisi. The property, fenced and partly meadowed with olive trees, features a swimming pool (12x6 prof.1,00-2,00)(01/05-30/09) with external shower, barbecue area with wood-burning oven, solarium terrace and loggia equipped for outdoor lunches, children's games. A separate outside room houses a laundry room. The villa is equipped with central heating, Wi fi internet connection and air conditioning (from season 2017). Domestic help, baby sitter, cook and cooking lessons are available on request. Access to the property is via a small asphalt road that slopes uphill and is not suitable for minivans. ACCOMMODATION: (250 m2) Ground floor: living room with fireplace and access to garden, kitchen/dining room with access to loggia, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 bathroom with shower. 1st summer: entrance, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin-bedded room (can be joined together) with bathroom with shower, 1 bathroom with bathtub. The bedroom windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
