The campsite
La Cailletière *** campsite is located 800 m from the village of Dolus, in the heart of the Ile d'Oléron. Ideally located 5mns from the beaches, the campsite welcomes you in the heart of an oak forest that will incite you to rest and relax. La Cailletière is a peaceful, flower-filled family campsite. The campsite has a heated swimming pool where you can relax and unwind for the duration of your stay. For children, the campsite also has a paddling pool. The Ile d'Oléron is equipped with a number of cycle paths, allowing you to explore the island by bike. The campsite also offers bike rentals. Pedal your way to the old lighthouse and its ornamental gardens. Visit the markets in the island's villages. Or stroll along the beaches and enjoy the view...

The cleaning of the mobile home was overhauled by the previous tenants (cobwebs everywhere with the spiders, grime on the hob, lots of hair (water not draining) in the shower drain and traces of soap in the shower and sink...). Quiet campsite and top entertainment, especially the dance evenings, with a great DJ. Pleasant and super-friendly staff. There's everything you need in Dolus d'Oléron, just a 10-minute walk from the town center. But the beach is a long way away. You'll need a car to go swimming in the ocean.
