The Gîte du Lac is located on the shores of Lac de Vouglans (600 m), in the region of lakes and waterfalls. It's the ideal place to discover the Jura and its riches. You'll enjoy direct access to the lake, where you can swim, stroll, visit, fish, relax and enjoy water sports. Your vacations will be punctuated by nature and pleasure.
The house comprises :
- First floor: entrance hall, toilet, living room, dining room, kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, fireplace (not usable from April to November) and private terrace.
- Second floor: two bedrooms with 140 cm beds, a 90 cm bed on a mezzanine, a sitting area on the mezzanine with TV, a bathroom with WC.

All shops within 4 km: bakery, pharmacy, butcher's shop, cheese shop, grocery store, cash dispenser...
In summer, the region is ideal for :
- hikers who enjoy walking, cycling around lakes or waterfalls, or adventure activities (accrobranches)
- fishermen (5 km from the port of La Saisse)
- swimmers (supervised beaches at Surchauffant, Mercantine, Bellecin water sports center, etc.)
- boat and canoe rentals in Pont-de-Poitte
The region also offers many opportunities for sightseeing: Maison de la vache qui rit (Lons-le-Saunier), toy museum, "Idéklic" international children's festival in early July (Moirans), diamond and pipe museum (St-Claude), Fort des Rousses, Jura vineyards...
For relaxation in Lons-le-Saunier (20 min): thermal baths; indoor pool
Or to discover the region: Paul-Emile Victor polar center (Prémanon), Parc Laponia (La Pesse), polar park (Chaux-Neuve)
IN WINTER, we're close to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails:
- Grandvaux trail (altitude 880 m to 1170 m) : Prénovel (family resort with cross-country trails, snowshoeing, tobogganing), Saint-Laurent, Morbier, Foncine 30 min. away.
- Haut Jura (altitude 940 m to 1680 m): Les Rousses / Lamoura / Prémanon less than an hour away. Also dog sledding (Prénovel, Les Moussières, La Pesse), winter tobogganing (Col de la Faucille), ice rink (Prémanon).
