Villas Finca La Crucita covers an area of 7,500 square meters and is located in the village of Haria, in the north of Lanzarote. Villas Finca La Crucita is surrounded by over 50 palm trees, most of which are over a hundred years old, in a valley that is home to thousands of these species. The La Crucita estate covers an area of 7,500 square meters and is located in the village of Haria, in the north of Lanzarote. A 2002 census gave a total of 1,189 inhabitants in the village. La Crucita is surrounded by over 50 palm trees, most of which are over a hundred years old, and is set in a valley where thousands of these species thrive. The property has eight houses, all different from each other and fully equipped, one of which is the main house and has an area of over 500 square meters. Each house is named after a village in the commune: Haria, the main house, Yé, Máguez, Orzola, Tabayesco, Arrieta, Mala y Guinate. The village and houses are designed for disabled people, with no architectural obstacles or barriers. Next to the houses and open spaces of La Crucita, there is a garden with some twenty palm trees and a barbecue area.
Architectural style, the architectural style of the houses at La Crucita is inspired by traditional Lanzarote architecture. Fireplaces - up to 8 different ones - sandstone and wooden floors blend with the liberal use of carpentry on ceilings, doors, windows and floors.
Stay true to tradition
In keeping with tradition, particular attention has been paid to the gardens, with some plants sourced exclusively from the island and the Canary Islands, while others come from elsewhere. All houses are furnished in a rustic style, have wooden cupboards instead of built-in wardrobes, and are equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, satellite TV and washing machine.
worth seeing
Four of the seven art, culture and tourism centers are located in the municipality of Haria, including Cueva de los Verdes, Mirador del Rio, Jameos del Agua and Cactus Garden. The last three are the creations of Cesar Manrique, who spent the last years of his life in Haria.
Mirador del Río
This is a unique structure carved into the hillside of the Peñas del Chache massif in Famara, at an altitude of almost 700 metres. The Mirador offers a panoramic view of the islands that make up the Chinijo archipelago, La Graciosa being the main island, with Alegranza and Montana Clara in the background.
Los Verdes cave
A kilometer-long volcanic cavern that lights up to highlight the different shapes and colors of the molten lava as it makes its way to the sea. Former inhabitants took refuge in the cave during pirate raids on the island.
Jameos del Agua
An underground lagoon home to blind albino crabs, with hanging tropical gardens and a superb lagoon pool. Jameos del Agua also houses an underground auditorium and a museum with a permanent exhibition on volcanoes.
Cactus Garden
A garden unique in the world. Within its walls are 10,000 cacti of over 1,400 species. Built like a Roman amphitheater, the garden consists of several levels of volcanic stone beds.
The municipality of Haria is also home to the Gusa salt marshes, at the foot of the Famara massif, and the Los Valles wind farm, which generates part of the island's electricity.
Risco beach
El Risco beach can be reached by descending from the top of the Famara massif, at an altitude of almost 700 meters, along a two-kilometer trail to sea level. The descent takes around half an hour. The beach is one of the most beautiful in the world, with the cliffs of the massif behind. The ascent by the same route takes about an hour. With its golden sand and calm sea, it is isolated in a nature reserve and overlooks the narrow El Rio strip of sea that separates Lanzarote from La Graciosa.
La Garita Beach
This beach is located in the village of Arrieta. It has golden sand and is sheltered from prevailing winds and waves. It has many facilities: changing rooms and toilets, breakwaters, beach restaurants and a Red Cross post...
Caléton Blanco
Located very close to the village of Orzola. It's an attractive beach thanks to the vivid contrast of colors: the white of the sand, the intense turquoise of the sea and the black volcanic lava. Caleton Blanco is just a 15-minute drive from the La Crucita estate.
