Le Pelou is situated on a hill with a beautiful panoramic view over the Vézère valley, and is surrounded by renowned prehistoric sites. This two-star campsite in the Dordogne-Périgord Noir is set in unspoilt natural surroundings next to the farm and its animals, away from the main roads for a relaxing family vacation. Young and old alike can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool.
The campsite's priority is to ensure the peace and quiet of its guests, which is why there's little entertainment on offer. Petanque competitions, paella evenings, Miss Pelou elections, donkey or mare rides... something for the whole family! At the Ferme du Pelou, young and old alike will marvel at the farm's animals: geese, goats, horses...
The campsite also offers drinks and regional dishes to take away. In July/August, you can enjoy the visit of the baker every morning, the greengrocer 3x/week, and the weekly pizza truck.
