At the foot of the Vosges mountains, Le Giessen campsite is a charming destination. With a small river running through it, it's the ideal starting point for exploring a welcoming region rich in tourist attractions. Just 100 meters from the campsite, you'll find an indoor swimming pool with paddling pool and waterslide, as well as an outdoor pool in July and August. Children can also enjoy the "Aquatoon" playground in high season.
The campsite also boasts a number of sports facilities, including a multisport pitch, bowling green, table tennis and skate park. During the summer school vacations, the campsite offers daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family, and a kids' club for 4-12 year-olds.
As for services, there's a snack bar with pizzas to take away or enjoy on the terrace. Wifi is available throughout the campsite at an additional cost.

Beautiful campsite. Mobile home 6 persons under equipped. How to cook with so few utensils. Lack of information at the reception about the animations, activities... Mail answering the questions received the day of our arrival. We therefore had expenses that could have been avoided (sheets). We would have brought them. Everything very clean. No wifi or network for that matter. Disconnection for the vacations.

campsite not worth 4 stars. could be better because of poorly maintained communal areas (broken false ceilings, cobwebs etc.), only one washing machine and tumble dryer for the campsite. pleasant staff depending on who you come across because of contradictory information and unsuccessful requests after 15 days...! well laid-out bungalow. nights were quiet...good stay overall but too much rain which limited activities!! well located in greenery and surrounded by animals...lots of places to discover in the area, very beautiful region...!!! It's a pity that the pool is outside, even though it's close, and too crowded, despite the different pools and the opening hours aren't long enough...!!!

An IRM mobile home very well arranged according to us but dangerous! Arrived in the pre-Thanksgiving period, the paths and the ground were "slushy" and the stairs of the terrace extremely slippery. After having stayed in a 3 star campsite of the same chain, we feel that this one does not deserve its 4 stars. No toaster, no electric kettle, a microwave whose door did not close properly and made us leave the campsite, and above all, the reception staff, although very nice, was very rarely present despite the wide opening hours (without any notion of return, even approximate).
