The village of Léon enjoys a privileged geographical location, with the Lac de Léon and the courant d'Huchet nature reserve, fine sandy beaches (St Girons plage, moliets) and a welcoming village with all amenities. Take a break at the market square, where nature lovers are guaranteed a change of scenery. Hire a bike and ride along the Côte Landes Nature cycle paths through the maritime pine forests. As soon as the weather is fine, the lake offers a wide range of water sports and outdoor leisure activities, and for fishing enthusiasts, all you have to do is walk 10 metres to cast your line. The lake-side gîte is on the first floor of the owner's house, on the edge of the lake and the footpath, and offers a fully-equipped kitchen-living room (top fridge, oven, 2 induction hobs, dishwasher, microwave, multifunction oven, TV). The gîte has 2 bedrooms (1 with a fold-away bed (160cm) and a small balcony with lounge furniture and lake view), the other with 2 single beds (80cm), a bathroom (shower, washbasin, radiant heater) and separate WC. The 140-bed bedroom converts into a living room with a real sofa in front, which can be folded down in one smooth movement (television).
