LIVE AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE by staying in the heart of a working mountain pasture (Natura 2000 zone) in the Bachilianne Alpine Gîte. Although access to the gîte has to be earned (9 kms of forest track or 3 hours' walk), you'll be overwhelmed on arrival by the beauty of the setting, at the foot of the north face of Obiou, on a balcony overlooking Oisans and the Southern Alps. Adjoining the shepherds' dwelling, the gîte d'alpage sleeps 4 in a dormitory. A wood-burning stove provides heating, and the gîte is fully equipped (kitchen, bathroom, etc.). Deposit to be paid on arrival by cheque only. Please note that towels are not provided.
