In the commune of Flumet, in the heart of the Mont Blanc region, we are offering this charming 29 m² flat for rent with a ski lift within walking distance and mountain views. It can accommodate up to 4 people. Located on the 2nd floor (no lift), it comprises a pretty 17 m² living room, an open-plan fitted kitchen, a good-sized bedroom, a shower room and a balcony. We're waiting for you!
The accommodation comprises
- A 17 m² living room with TV, double sofa bed (140x200) and dining area.
- An open-plan kitchen with appliances including: electric kettle, microwave/oven, toaster, dishwasher, hob, Tassimo pod coffee machine, raclette and fondue machine...
- One bedroom with double bed (140×190).
- Bathroom with bath.
- Separate WC
Exterior:
- A south-west facing balcony of 7.74 m², with furniture to enjoy the fine weather and the view of the mountains.
- A heated swimming pool (shared), open from mid-May to mid-September and from mid-December to mid-March (opening dates non-contractual, subject to change by the residence).
The flat is ideally located in Flumet, in a very pleasant environment. Situated at the foot of the slopes, within the 192 km Espace Diamant ski area, the flat is close to the Crest-Voland and Les Saisies resorts. In Flumet town centre, just 3 km away, you will find all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, a market, etc.
Activities :
In winter, the Diamant ski area, with its 192 km of pistes, offers a host of winter sports activities, including skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and tobogganing. But there are plenty of other activities too, including themed trails and orienteering courses, and last but not least, discover Mont Blanc from the sky with a hot-air balloon ride!
In summer, you can explore the hiking trails, enjoy a swim on the beach at the Flumet lake, go trail running or climbing at the Carrière site, or go fishing on the banks of the Arly. Finally, don't forget to stock up on fresh, local produce direct from the producers: milk, cheese, meat, etc. You can even make your own Reblochon!
Transport :
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the private outdoor car park or in the free parking spaces located just outside the residence.
The best solution for greater autonomy is to use your own car (private or rental).
As far as other means of transport are concerned, here is some information you may find useful:
- There are shuttle buses to the village and other surrounding villages
- Taxi to Flumet and Bus station to Megève.
- Nearest train station: Albertville station, about 24 minutes' drive away.
- Nearest airport: Chambéry airport, approximately 75 km away.
Other remarks:
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- Sheets and towels are not included but are available on request from the concierge (to be paid directly on site by travellers).
- Ski locker for ideal storage (boots and skis with coat rack).
- Laundry facilities in the residence for a fee.
