L'atelier des hirondelles Gîte (created end of 2021), very personalized, entirely decorated and fitted out by Odile and Daniel, the owners. Their aim is to offer you an exceptional service.
If you're a fisherman, you'll appreciate the 8-hectare private pond outside the property (70m), with confidential but not private access. You can fish for roach, carp, perch, pike and even eels. Free fishing card. The no-kill pond offers large, open spaces ideal for long casts. You can also use the rowing boat to ply the water. A fishing cabin is available, as well as an outdoor sink, barbecue, garden furniture and recliners.
This charming, detached stone house has a private terrace overlooking a wooded site that's not overlooked. Fibre optic WIFI access throughout.
Ground floor: a large living-dining room (36m²) with a fully-equipped kitchen area featuring dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric oven, induction hob, plancha. A living-dining area with 110cm TNTSAT TV, sofa and armchairs. Separate WC in a very spacious shower room (L. linen).
1st floor: 2 bedrooms, one 17m², 1 bed 160*200, large cupboards and a washbasin/WC area. The 2nd bedroom, 9m², 2 twin beds 80*190cm with desk&armchair.
Electric heating with programmable cast-iron inertia radiators. Rates include cleaning, towels, tea towels and 8 kwh/day electricity.

If you'd like to get away with family or friends, the property is set in a magnificent wooded setting. It houses this gîte: l'Atelier des Hirondelles and a 2nd gîte: le Martin Pêcheur, H53G010581, for 3 people and the owners' house on 4,000 m2 of land enclosed by hedges. Each house is independent, with its own private terrace and fishing cabin. Not overlooked. Ideal for nature lovers and anglers alike.
Nearby: the towpath 6 km away (offers 85kms along the Mayenne), castles in Mayenne, Laval, Lassay-les-Châteaux, Ste Suzanne, Fougères, Vitré, as well as the characterful villages of Fontaine-Daniel and Chailland, the Gallo-Roman site of Jublains, Museums, the Jardin des Renaudies, Le Refuge de l'Arche, the most visited site in Mayenne, the Saulges Caves. And Mont-Saint-Michel is just 1h30 away by car! Pets not accepted.
