Located 5km from the Aix-en-Provence train station, and 20min from Marseille's first beaches, the Golf de la Cabre d'Or residence in Cabriès is on the edge of a magnificent 18-hole golf course. With its 70 modern, comfortable apartments and maisonettes, the residence enjoys a relaxing setting in the heart of nature, in a 2-hectare estate planted with palm trees and facing Mont Sainte-Victoire.
Perched on a rocky outcrop, Cabriès boasts steep medieval alleyways that wind between the various houses, giving the village its distinctive character. The Château, the last home of painter Edgar Mélik, houses a permanent exhibition of his work, as well as the Gallo-Roman remains discovered in the commune.
On the coast, you'll find Marseille, its Old Port and its distinctive atmosphere, the Canebière, the charming Panier district, Notre Dame de la Garde, l'Estaque... not forgetting the island of Château d'If and Frioul. Just a few kilometers away, you'll find the must-see calanques of Cassis and La Ciotat.
Higher up, Aix-en-Provence, a town whose charm is constantly praised, and the Sainte-Victoire mountain: here, we enter the very heart of Provence, on the side of the Alpilles massif, where the famous village of Les Baux-de-Provence is perched.
Rejoining the Rhône, we head for Aubagne, in the footsteps of Marcel Pagnol, then on to Arles, with its Roman remains and markets, before reaching the Camargue, with its unspoilt natural spaces, horses and birds, the Vaccarès lagoon, Sainte-Marie de la Mer, Martigues and the Salins de Giraud.
