Located 1.5 kms from Saint Jean Pied de Port, at the foot of the mountains, the Europ'Camping **** campsite welcomes you just a stone's throw from the village square, in a pleasant, flowery, green and very quiet setting for a successful family vacation!
On site, you can soak up the sunshine in the heated swimming pool with its small pool. After a busy day, you can relax in the sauna located next to the pool. Numerous leisure facilities are available: playground, volleyball court, petanque court, slide, swings, etc... A covered games room with table tennis and billiards is also available for family entertainment.
In July and August, Europ'Camping organizes a folk-themed dance every Wednesday.
To make your stay as pleasant as possible, the campsite offers a range of services: Wifi access (at a charge) throughout the campsite, a bar, takeaway food, basic groceries, bread and pastries.
You're just 10 minutes from the Spanish border, 20 minutes from the famous chilli village of Espelette, and 50 minutes from Saint Jean de Luz and Biarritz, with their dream beaches and surf spots.
Saint Jean Pied de Port organizes pelota games and folklore evenings; a market takes place every Monday, and cheese, ham and Irouléguy wine fairs are held in July and August.
In the surrounding villages, every weekend from Saturday to Tuesday is devoted to a Basque festival, ending with a méchoui.
For hiking enthusiasts, discover the Iraty forest with its lakes and streams. But there's a whole host of other activities too: rafting, canyoning, canoeing, adventure courses, quad biking, paragliding, fishing, visits and wine tasting (Irouléguy vineyards).
