Les Peupliers campsite is located along the Cabourg beach at Merville Franceville Plage. Facing the seaside resort of Ouistream and the Brittany ferry, it's ideally located for discovering the Normandy coast. For your enjoyment, the campsite has two swimming pools, with the indoor pool heated to 29 degrees Celsius from spring onwards.
You can visit the D-Day landing beaches along the coast in the direction of Ouistreham, Courseulles and Arromanches les Bains. But you can also hop on your bike and follow the voie verte to Caen to visit the castle and the city of William the Conqueror. Staying at the campsite, children can enjoy the recently restored playground. Adults, meanwhile, will prefer the sports area with multi-sports pitch, fitness area, ping-pong tables and, of course, the inevitable pétanque pitch.
In addition to all the seafood and specialty restaurants along the coast, you can also eat at the campsite's Bar and Snack Bar between April 1 and September 30. It has a covered terrace and a bar overlooking the pool.
