- General description of the campsite:
On the famous and highly sought-after Lège Cap-Ferret peninsula, set down your suitcases at the 4* Camping Les Embruns, in the heart of a pine forest less than 1 km from the beautiful beaches of the Bassin d'Arcachon, and 7 km from the famous ocean beaches, which you can reach safely by bike along the forest cycle path... It's incredible but so true!
Its ideal location allows you to discover the region's rich natural and cultural heritage, including Arcachon and of course the famous Dune du Pilat, or taste oysters directly from the oyster farmers on the Presqu'Île...
The calm, warm, shallow waters of the Basin are ideal for families with young children, while the wide beaches of the invigorating Atlantic Ocean are perfect for those in search of adrenalin and water sports.
The campsite also offers a superb 2600 m² open-air, temperate pool area, with 2 large pools, 1 of which is covered with a removable roof for sunny days, a paddling pool for the little ones and a colorful aqualudic area for even more fun; as for the more adventurous, 2 slides for even more fun!
On the agenda for the whole family: fun and laughter thanks to the daily activities programmed in high season by the entertainment team, including mini-club, sports, evening events and much more.
Sung about, painted and filmed... celebrated for its bewitching charm, with its picturesque fishermen's huts on stilts, this little corner of paradise will seduce and move you with its beauty, so get out your "little handkerchiefs" and let yourself be carried away... Follow the breeze and the sea air to Les Embruns campsite!

- Description of the Aquatic Area:
Indoor or outdoor pool? Relaxation or fun? Don't worry, you're bound to find what you're looking for in the 2600 m² of aquatic space on offer here!
For all-season enjoyment, head for the 25 m indoor pool with bubble bath, whose removable roof opens in fine weather, giving way to an open-air pool to soak up the gentle rays of the Gironde sun.
Outside, 3 different environments complete the picture:
- A large 25 m pool for your laps
- A paddling pool and a colorful water play area to keep the little ones happy.
- If you're looking for thrills and spills with a touch of fun, there are 2 slides with a catch basin.
Whether indoors or outdoors, you'll find the loungers all around the various aquatic areas just waiting for you!
Dates and opening times for indoor and outdoor aquatic areas:
- Open all season: 10:15/13:00 and 14:00/17:00 in low season and 10:15-19:30 in high season.
- Temperate indoor pool area: open from 30/03 to 31/08.
- Temperate outdoor pool area and slides: open from 30/03 to 31/08, subject to good weather conditions, as heated by the sun's rays.
NB: One-piece and two-piece lycra swimsuits are permitted for women. For men, swimming shorts are forbidden; only lycra boxer shorts, swim trunks or jammers are permitted. Lifeguard on duty all season.
And for even more bathing fun, head for one of the beaches on the Bassin d'Arcachon, less than 1 km away and a 15-minute walk away!
All times are approximate and subject to change. Access to the aquatic areas may be subject to restrictions, depending on weather and sanitary conditions, and any maintenance work in progress at the time of your stay.
- Entertainment:
If in low season, the atmosphere is quiet with only a few evenings and entertainment for a totally relaxing vacation, in July/August the pace quickens and it's time for entertainment! From morning till night, for all ages, a wide range of activities will be offered by the dynamic entertainment team, a program sure to please!
Daytime activities include jogging, bike rides, forest walks, soccer, basketball, handball, table tennis and pétanque tournaments, not forgetting the inevitable fitness and aquagym classes!
And of course, our more competitive guests can enjoy a game of table tennis, table soccer or billiards (some games available at extra cost), as well as a multi-sports pitch (soccer, handball, basketball).
If you're a pétanque fan, you'll have to score your points on the field.
The mini-golf course will bring generations together for the ultimate in family fun!
And let's not forget your children's vacation highlight, the bouncy castle for safe jumping and antics, or the playground, with slide, spider's web and toes in the sand for rolling and rolling without getting hurt, with new friends for even more fun!
In the evening: aperitif games, dance evenings, bingo (depending on the program), and even the involvement of outside service providers to offer concerts, magic shows, cabarets, etc.
Kids/teens club (ages 4 to 12 and up):
- In low season, Club Max, ages 4 to 12 only.
- In July/August, Club Pirates (4 to 7 years), Club Barracudas (8 to 11 years) and Club Ados (12 years and over), open 5 days a week, with sessions of 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon (times to be consulted on site).
A dedicated entertainment team offers activities and discoveries adapted to each age group. On the program: treasure hunts, team sports, arts and crafts, baking, drawing, workshops, dance, show preparation... Enough to keep them busy without ever getting bored!
NB; Children welcome subject to the number of children authorized per activity leader, on reservation and subject to availability.

The entertainment program may be subject to certain adjustments, and some activities may not be available from time to time, depending on the weather, visitor numbers and official sanitary conditions in force at the time of your stay.

Whether you're looking for a morning coffee to get the day off to a good start, or a cocktail to finish it off in style, the bar is sure to satisfy.
No time to cook or in too much of a hurry to explore the region? You can always count on the snack bar for a quick bite to eat in or take away.
If you're in the mood for a real vacation, don't worry about the menu - the restaurant will be there to serve you!
In July and August, the bar-restaurant is open every day, and a bread and pastry shop is also available.
These services are also open in low season, depending on the period and the number of guests at any given time (times to be consulted on site).
And if you need to stock up, don't worry, you'll find shops just 300 m from the campsite! And even a market in high season.
Stay connected even on vacation: here, wifi is available throughout the site (extra charge).
And that's not all: for added convenience, there's a laundry with washing machines and tumble dryers (extra charge), and a communal barbecue area (grills available on loan from reception, please bring charcoal, use subject to prefectoral authorization). Electric barbecues are prohibited.
And don't forget the wellness area with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and 2 face and body treatment rooms (open all season by appointment, surcharge).
Need to get away from it all and explore the region? Why not take one of the surrounding bike paths and breathe in the freedom? A bike rental service is available throughout the season, with bikes delivered to the campsite in low season, and a daily presence at the campsite in July and August (extra charge, see times and rates on site).
The same company also rents out surfing equipment (conditions and rates on site, with supplement).

Pet supplement: €6/day/pet (maximum 1 pet per rental unit. Reservations required prior to arrival. Cats accepted. NAC refused)
Small animals weighing less than 10 kg: Authorized
Large animals and/or weighing more than 10 kg: Authorized.
Vaccination booklet required. It is strictly forbidden to leave pets unattended in the accommodation. They must always be kept on a leash at the campsite.
Attack and 1st category dogs: Not permitted.
