Saint Victor-sur-Arlanc is less than 2 hours from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, in a peaceful wooded setting. In this small village, an old building has just been converted into a cosy, comfortable gîte called "Faune, Flore, Forêt". As you enter the premises, the name takes on its full meaning: large windows give you an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside, and there's a good chance that during your stay you'll catch a glimpse of deer, foxes or other forest dwellers! The interior decoration is remarkable: chandeliers, fittings, staircase, door panels - everything is unique and made-to-measure.
The layout has been well thought out, with three independent sleeping modules each with its own bathroom, and a common room large enough for everyone to get together! Let yourself be seduced, this gîte will be the ideal place to stay with friends or family, combining conviviality, comfort and privacy! Activities on site: lazing around, nature watching, hiking or cycling, horse riding, radio and electronic games museum...
Nearby attractions: the remarkable abbey church of St Robert at La Chaise Dieu, the villages of St Jean d'Aubrigoux, Bonneval or Jullianges (racecourse)... a little further afield: the town of Le Puy en Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage buildings, the remarkable villages of the Allier and Ance valleys... Rates include: utilities, bed linen and towels, cleaning.
Shops and services in Craponne sur Arzon 9km Entrance to the gîte is via a hall leading to a large living area comprising a kitchen, living room and sitting area, all opening onto a large terrace. A toilet completes this level.
On the second floor is the sleeping area, divided into three modules. Each module is equipped with a foldaway table, tea bar and TV.
The first module, "Forêt", can accommodate 2 people and is equipped with a 140cm bed, a shower room with walk-in shower and WC. The "Flore" and "Faune" modules can each accommodate 4 people and are equipped with: a futon bed and a classic mezzanine bed, a shower, a bathtub and WC.
The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding crockery and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption - if the gîte is heated electrically, you will be charged 15 Kwh per day (any excess will be paid on site to the hosts).
