Quite simply, it's the ideal place if you're looking for a friendly, family-friendly spot. Located just 20 kms from the famous island of Noirmoutier in the Vendée, in the commune of Bois-de-Céné, this campsite is the perfect opportunity for you to create wonderful vacation memories. The campsite is a haven of peace nestled in an idyllic setting between countryside and coastline. The new Lagoon added in 2022 offers a tropical experience, and a range of family activities awaits you for an unforgettable vacation.
Maeva Escapades is an invitation to take the time to rediscover France and its destinations through the eyes of people who love their region.
Zoom in on the region and the area around the campsite: it's an ideal place for nature lovers to discover the richness of its flora and fauna. On foot or by bike, take advantage of the many trails around the campsite. Escape to the island of Noirmoutier after crossing the legendary Passage du Gois, submersible according to the tides; a unique place where you can observe nature in its purest state. Visit the many museums and historical monuments in the Vendée region, including the Vendée Memorial, Chauvet Island and the Puy du Fou!
Every summer, Bois-de-Céné hosts 2 not-to-be-missed festivals: the Ile Chauvet festival, where you can enjoy a variety of aperitifs and concerts, and "Tous en Cène", a world music festival.
During the day, you can stroll through the craft markets of Bois-de-Céné, Challans and Sallertaine.
To help you relax, the maeva team offers a range of facilities: a 3000m² lagoon paradise where you can relax in the shade under a palm tree, on the warm sand or with your feet in the water. An outdoor swimming pool with water jets and a balneotherapy area to relax in, while the little ones enjoy the paddling pool. And to continue enjoying the pleasures of water whatever the weather: an indoor pool open all season!
New for 2023: the educational mini-farm is here to amaze young and old alike! Your children can discover Cameroon's alpacas, goats and sheep, and spend an unforgettable moment with them as they help feed the animals.
During the summer months, you can have a good time all day long by taking part in pétanque tournaments or water activities at the swimming pool. In the evenings, the whole family can enjoy games, music and lively concerts. In the off-season, we organize themed meals where you can meet our residents, who are real experts on the region and can give you sound advice to enhance your stay at our campsite!
We haven't forgotten your children: 2 play areas for young and old are available on the campsite, so they can have fun and make new friends!
And to make your stay at maeva even more enjoyable, we offer a range of services: a bar open every day, a bakery with baguettes baked on site, a snack bar serving a variety of dishes, and a small grocery store stocked with basic necessities. We also offer a range of rentals (bed linen, baby kit, barbecue, etc.) and a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer.
