Ideal for a vacation in the heart of nature, Camping Domaine de la Paille Basse ***** is located in the heart of the South-West of France, in the Midi Pyrenees region. Discreetly secluded in the heart of the forest are three medieval farmhouses that have been completely restored for maximum relaxation.
For those who want to have a bit of fun, there's a water park with 2 heated pools, including a large 10m x 25m pool, a medium-sized pool, a paddling pool and a 4-lane waterslide, so there's something for everyone!
Whether you're looking for relaxation, conviviality or sport, you're sure to find leisure facilities to suit you: 3 children's play areas, multi-sports pitch (soccer, volleyball, basketball, handball, tennis), pétanque, table tennis....
During the day, during the Easter and summer vacations, enjoy the campsite's activities: sports tournaments, competitions, pool games, aquagym, jogging...
Your vacation and summer evenings will also be enlivened by evening shows and games: karaoke, quizzes, bingo, concerts, clowns, balloon sculptors, various games, etc.
During the Easter vacations and in July/August, the Domaine de la Paille Basse offers a mini-club for children aged 4 and over, with a wide range of activities to help them make friends and have fun, including games organized by our entertainers.
At La Paille Basse, we can't claim to offer a "teen club" as such.
We offer activities and games for them too. But it's true that the site mainly attracts families with young children. Teenagers are not left out, however, as they enjoy a great deal of independence here, thanks to the safety of the site. It has always been their custom to meet and socialize every evening in the "Night Circle" at the entrance to the estate. The tears at the goodbyes suggest that the teens are having a great time at La Paille Basse.
For your convenience, the campsite offers a range of services: bar-restaurant, laundry, grocery store and takeaway, wifi in communal areas, TV room, hiking trails departing from the campsite....

The campsite is top notch, set in the middle of trees in the middle of the forest, you don't see streets of mobile homes like in some campsites. We have our privacy when we eat on the terrace. 3 pools (paddling pool, medium and 1 large, very deep pool up to 2.50 m) + 1 "4-seater" slide + 1 water playground. 2 play areas (1 for very young children and 1 for older children) 1 room with billiards, pinball and shuffleboard (fee payable) We didn't take part in any of the activities, except for the outing to the sheepfold on Wednesday morning (visit to the field next to the campsite, the sheepfold, and tasting of homemade products under the shelter of an oak tree), which was great thanks to the farmer, who is so happy to share her passion. THE campsite is in the middle of our 3 programmed visits (Padirac, Rocamadour and Lascaux). THE mobile home lacked cleaning when we arrived, (dust in the cupboards, sticky grease marks on the cupboard above the hob, dirty coffee maker), and no dishwasher (we knew that but we had to wash the dishes at every meal because we only had 5 forks 5 knives 5 spoons for 4 people).

Very nice campsite isolated in the middle of the forest, ideal to recharge your batteries. Mobile home correct for 4 people relatively well equipped but lacks a covered terrace ... Beautiful water space unfortunately without sunbathing. We had a very good stay at la paille basse !
