Welcome to Camping du Val de Saône *** located on the Base de Loisirs de Thoissey in the Ain department. In a 100% natural setting on the banks of the Saône, our site has been designed for unforgettable holidays with family, friends or as a couple!
Let yourself be tempted by a vacation between the Saône and the Beaujolais, our Val de Saône campsite is sure to please young and old alike!
Presentation
Located in central France, 45 minutes north of Lyon and close to the Beaujolais region, the Val de Saône campsite welcomes you to a 7-hectare natural park on the banks of the Saône.
Whether you're interested in history, oenology, animals and nature, or cycling and hiking, the area around our campsite is sure to keep you entertained!
Our campsite has its own refreshment bar and a snack restaurant with a 495m² terrace overlooking the river Saône, where you can enjoy a dinner in front of the sunset. And don't forget the heated swimming pool with its 3 pools, sure to please everyone!

Discover the Thoissey water sports center just outside the campsite! Here you can hire a canoe or a boat without a licence and sail on the Chalaronne or Saône rivers. Enjoy a dip in the Thoissey swimming pool, or for the more motivated, take part in a water-skiing session! Play croquet and challenge your friends!
100% free, fun activities also await you at the campsite! Find the Geocaches hidden around the campsite, or take part in our Lettr'Enquête to discover Thoissey in a different way. A pétanque pitch, volleyball court and playground will keep the family entertained!
For cycling and hiking enthusiasts, join Macon or Lyon on the towpaths along the Saône, or visit the small villages of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, Pérouges... For fishing enthusiasts, you'll find yourself in the heart of a major fishing ground, particularly for catfish.
Close to the campsite and less than 1 hour away by bike, you'll have a wide choice of outings and activities! Touroparc zoo, the Jardins Aquatiques in Saint-Didier la Chalaronne, the Parc des oiseaux in Villars-les-Dombes for animal and nature lovers!

Enjoy a unique stay on the banks of the Saône in a cowboy-style wagon! With a capacity of 2 people, you and your partner can enjoy a fun and unusual vacation that will delight young and old alike. Your trailer will be fitted out with a double bed, a foldaway bench for extra sleeping space, and a sliding table. Swimming pool access is included in summer (opening times and periods defined by the municipality). Electricity available in the caravan. Close to sanitary facilities.
