Welcome to the maeva Escapades Les Etangs Mina *** campsite, nestled in seven hectares of Natura 2000 listed parkland in the heart of the Brouage marshes, in Saint Sornin between Rochefort, Royan and La Rochelle in Charente-Maritime. The campsite is just a 20-minute drive from the Atlantic Ocean and its beaches.
Maeva Escapades is an invitation to take the time to rediscover France and its destinations through the eyes of people who love their region.
Zoom in on the region: Charente-Maritime is defined by the clear, limpid waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It is bordered by 463 km of coastline and surrounded by an archipelago of islands whose mere mention evokes the sweetness of life: Ré, Oléron, Aix and Madame. We choose this destination for its beaches and seaside resorts, its ports, its towns steeped in art and history, its festivals and its emblematic sites. We recommend a few family activities: discover the surrounding islands on one of our cruises, visit La Palmyre zoo or discover Europe's most beautiful aquarium, at La Rochelle. If you prefer to stroll and enjoy your mornings, every Sunday the Gua and Royan markets welcome you to fill your baskets: Charentais melon, tomatoes and other local vegetables, goat's cheese, caramels with fleur de sel or sea salts... And let's not forget the pleasures of the table with Marenne-Oléron oysters, fish or seafood.
Every summer, the Francofolies festival brings the area to life with concerts and a host of artists!
And don't forget to take the time to stroll through the narrow streets of Mornac-sur-Seudre, a magnificent oyster-farming village listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, just a short distance from the campsite!
In addition to all these adventures, the campsite offers you a swimming pool to cool off in, a paddling pool for the little ones, as well as leisure facilities such as a home ball, fitness near the pond, table tennis and a play area with an inflatable giraffe.
Campsite bonus: 3 ponds, including 2 where no-kill fishing enthusiasts can try their hand at carp fishing.

During your stay, you'll be offered a full schedule of activities (themed evenings, dance lessons, concerts). Your children can enjoy a variety of activities at Club Mina (3/12 years).
Several services are available: a snack bar/bar in July/August with takeaway service and bread depot, a small grocery store for basic necessities, various rentals (bed linen, barbecue, baby kit), bike rental on request.
