Location
Saint-Marc-sur-Mer is a seaside resort in France, famous for its beautiful, unspoilt beaches surrounded by rocky outcrops. The summer months are ideal for sunbathing and swimming. The small resort remains relatively unspoilt by the tourist influx.
Monsieur Hulot's beach is the place to be. A wooden esplanade allows you to stroll along the beach and observe the bronze statue of Jacques Tati's famous character. A number of restaurants are also accessible from this beach, and in summer there's plenty to do (paddleboarding, kitesurfing, etc.). The beach, which is the town's main point of interest, has been awarded the Blue Flag and Handiplage label.
