If you want to get away from it all, take a break in the heart of the Montagne Bourbonnaise. Christine and Pascal will be delighted to welcome you to their independent gîte with shared swimming pool! This gîte, which backs onto the manor house, is the former janitor's cottage, and is ideal for 6 people, with the addition of 2 extra beds: a wrought-iron single bed and a cabin-style bed for a child (max. 145cm). On the ground floor: a bedroom (bookable in summer only) full of charm, stone wall, 140x190 bed, hammock chair and direct access to the pool, a shower room with separate shower/WC, a living/dining room overlooking the park, a kitchen opening onto your private terrace with century-old trees. Armchairs, barbecue, brazier, hammock and a gazebo with benches are available for reading or meditation under the trees. The enclosed grounds connect with the estate park.
Upstairs, via the slightly sloping staircase, you'll find a bedroom with a 160x200 trundle bed and a cabin bed, and a bohemian-style 2nd bedroom, accessible via the 1st bedroom, with a 180x200 bed and a single wrought-iron bed. A Nordic bath is available (€20/hour for 6 people). The swimming pool, shared with the owners, is open from May 1 to [hidden] 30, and a gym is available with a number of apparatus. The area is ideal for hiking (the GR3 runs alongside the house), road biking and mountain biking. Things to do: accrobranche at Saint Clément with a lake, the PAL 45 minutes away, the town of Vichy 30 minutes away, the Billy fortress...

Gîte extras: Bed linen included and beds made up on arrival. Bathroom linen. Possibility of renting 2 electric bikes from the owner. Heating and electricity at customer's expense, to be paid on site at end of stay.
