This recently renovated first-floor apartment, in an independent house that dates back to 1860, is just a few minutes from the beach but with easy access to unspoiled countryside. It is an ideal option for a relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of Croatia.
The apartment, which sleeps 4, has polished wooden floors throughout. It is decorated in a stylish modern way. The sitting room has a sofa and flat-screen HD TV, with a glass door leading out onto a private balcony. An attractive archway leads from the sitting room to the kitchen/dining room. The white dining table has 4 chairs and is next to the new, fitted kitchen. The open kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, fridge/freezer and a kettle.
Outside is a pretty shared garden where guests can relax and enjoy meals al fresco

Location
In a peaceful part of the small town of Matujli Jusici, the apartment is just an 8-minute drive from the beach but close to all the local amenities and shops. The popular seaside town of Opatija is 10 minutes away. Here visitors can enjoy many excellent restaurants and cafés.
As Croatia’s main port, the city of Rijeka (15 mins) is a fascinating mix of history and contemporary culture. The city’s museums, castle and cathedral are all worth visiting. The busy port offers many ferries to the beautiful islands off the coast. For self-catering Rijeka’s market (Monday to Saturday mornings) is a treasure trove of local produce which you prepare and enjoy back at home.
Away from the coast, there are wonderful hiking trails in the Ucka National Park (20 minutes).
Rijeka International Airport is just 30 minutes away. A damage deposit of 300EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
