The seaside resort of Carnon-Plage is the closest to Montpellier (13 km, about 15 minutes' drive). It's a family resort with 7 km of fine sandy beaches stretching from the port of Carnon to La Grande-Motte, where you'll find a wide range of activities. You can also find shops and restaurants along the beach or in the harbor. Local markets are held 3 times a week in summer, and there's a craft market on the port every Wednesday.
The property: ideally located on the 1st line with a view, direct access to the beach. Twenty minutes' walk from the port and shops.

Extraordinary location. It's a pity that our stay was spoiled by the roller shutter stuck in the down position in our room, the air-conditioning not working in this heatwave and the electric grill out of order. We are delighted to come to Carnon every year, but disappointed this year because of these malfunctions.
