After this immersion in the nature, go to the discovery of the millenary cities of the Dordogne. Rendez-vous in Périgueux, a former Gallo-Roman city that houses some forty historic monuments. Enjoy the Vésone tower, the Barrière castle and the Saint-Front cathedral with its beautiful Byzantine domes. Then you will be charmed by the medieval city of Sarlat and admire its unique heritage : Saint-Sacerdos cathedral, La Boétie house, Gisson hotel... In the Eyzies of Tayac, discover the Font-de-Gaume cave, the Cro-Magnon shelter and the National Museum of Prehistory with its collection of 18,000 pieces retracing nearly 400,000 years of humanity's evolution. Nearby, also visit Lascaux 4, perfect replica of the famous ornate cave.
