Maritime land, La Coruña is also distinguished by the beauty of its cities and has the particularity of owning two capitals : A Coruna, capital of the Province, and Santiago de Compostela, capital of the region. In A Coruna, enjoy the Romanesque city center with its beautiful churches of Santiago and Santa Maria do Campo, as well as the Maria Pita Palace and the Roman tower of Hercules, the oldest lighthouse in the world still in use. In Santiago de Compostela, admire the many monuments that have earned this place of the Christian pilgrimage the classification of Unesco world heritage : the Romanesque cathedral, the Benedictine monastery San Martin Pinario, the hospital of the Catholic Monarchs, Saint-Jérôme...
