It is in the department of Côtes-d'Armor, in Brittany, that the commune of Plurien is located. Slipped between the two famous seaside resorts of Erquy and Fréhel, this charming town is located 39 kilometers northwest of Dinan. A coastal village, bordering the English Channel, Plurien is worth a visit to discover its heritage. On the built-up side, the Saint-Pierre church is a must, as is the chapel of Léhen. On foot or by bike, you can discover the Hunaudaye mill, the impressive Roche du Marais nicknamed "Gavelle de Gargantua", or even walk over the bridge of the old railway. Rich of a preserved territory and classified Grand Site de France, the Grand Site Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel on which Plurien is located has an absolutely remarkable natural heritage that you will be able to discover by walking the paths of the Voie Verte and of the GR34, one of the most famous in France, known to go through the whole Brittany. Equipped with good trainers, you can set off (on foot, by bike or on horseback!) to discover the cliffs which each year welcome nearly ten species of seabirds which find refuge there, particularly during the breeding season: razorbills, common guillemots, seagulls, herring gulls and other cormorants take care of the show during their incessant ballets in the sky. In addition to nature walks through the moors or in the shade of the pines, you can opt to visit a fish market (at 6.30 am, it stings a bit!), for a gourmet break around the scallops, or even try your hand at kayaking for a sporty and contemplative walk. Our advice? Climb to the top of the Cap Fréhel lighthouse to discover a breathtaking view of the cliffs and the sea, and don't miss a visit to the medieval castle of Fort-la-Latte: an architectural gem, it offers an unforgettable panorama of the blue sea and the cliffs from its keep with its narrow stairs.

Located between two capes, Cap Fréhel and Cap d'Erquy, Plurien is the small pleasures of the sea in complete tranquility. Of course, the place is touristy, but breathable all the same, and you will always find a small corner of shade where you can picnic, a piece of sand where you can put your towel to sunbathe in peace. Straddling Plurien and Fréhel, the seaside resort of Sables-d'Or-les-Pins is only a short distance from the town of Plurien. Known for having one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole region, 3 kilometres long, made of fine sand and bordered by dunes where it is good to walk, Sables-d'Or-les-Pins is a must for those who dream of tranquillity. With the scent of the pines and the murmur of the waves as companions, its Belle Époque seaside mansions, its small restaurants and its hiking trails, it is the perfect place for an elegant interlude. Sand yachting, swimming, surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing in emerald waters will enhance your stay in Brittany.
