One of them ("Xcapate" - Calle Canónigo Manuel Penalva, 5 - 03013 Alacant) consists of solving a series of clues in order to escape from a room before the end of the time allowed. Sea enthusiasts will prefer Torrevieja, a fishing port converted into a tourist resort nestled between the Mediterranean and two salt lakes. In the 19th century, this modest fishing village was expanded by the salt industry, which transformed it into a maritime city. Today, this tradition is still celebrated throughout the city. At the Museum of Salt and Sea, an exhibition of objects related to this industry pays tribute to the hard work of the sailors that allowed to develop Torrevieja. Every summer since 1955, the International Competition of habaneras and polyphony highlights the Havanese, these songs brought back by the sailors who returned from Cuba.
