Situated at an altitude of 1,800 meters, Le Balcon des Airelles is a beautiful wood-and-stone residence offering magnificent panoramic views over the valley, the larch forest and the surrounding mountains.
Right in the geographic center of Les Orres 1800 resort, it's ideally located opposite the tourist office, the ESF and ESI offices, and just a few steps from the trailheads and hiking trails. The day-care center is also just a few hundred meters away, where you can drop off your piou-pious.
You'll find modern, comfortable accommodation ranging from 4 to 10 beds, all with balconies overlooking the valley or the slopes and summits.
Le Balcon des Airelles boasts an indoor heated swimming pool for non-skiers of all ages. The pool is only open in season, this summer from 29/06/2024 to 31/08/2024 and this winter from 07/12/2024 to 12/04/2025.
The residence also has several underground parking spaces available for rent if required.
This 61m², west-facing, 3-room duplex apartment is set back slightly from the main square in the Les Orres 1800 resort for a quiet stay.
It features an entrance hall with storage space, a living room with sofa bed, a dining room - fitted kitchen, two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and a shower room on the first floor, as well as a balcony with a view of the Melèzes forest.

As far as the accommodation was concerned, it was not clean on the whole, with dishes stored in the cupboards. The kitchen really needs an extractor fan, a real oven and a washing machine. The resort's laundromat was out of order, so with a baby it was difficult not to have a solution. Sewage smells regularly in the rooms. The dishwasher has cleaning problems, and even with a pre-wash and an intensive 70-degree program, the dishes remain dirty. It's a pity about these inconveniences, but the size of this apartment is sufficient. As far as the environment is concerned, everything is at our feet: ski school, nursery, shops, snow front, shuttle bus. As for the residence, it doesn't offer a warm welcome, no welcoming lobby, no Christmas decorations, no board games, a magnificent fireplace that's been turned off... what a shame for this level of Étoilé residence.
