Mozart, Verdi and Rossini all came to stroll the streets of this neighborhood. The Musiciens district is a symbol of Nice architecture. It's a district appreciated for its calm and its immediate proximity to Nice's hypercentre. Although very close to the hypercenter, the Musiciens district offers its residents a true neighborhood life. There are many local shops and restaurants.

This neighborhood is best known for Avenue Jean-Médecin. It is one of the city's main north-south traffic arteries, and appears to be Nice's main shopping street.
